Wonderful movie by Wong Kar Wai. I can understand why he is regarded in such high esteem. Not too long, yet very effective. Very poignant movie about marriage, infidelity and regret. As an aside, Tony Leung won the best actor award at Cannes in 2000 for his role in the film. Maggie Cheung is so beautiful in the movie. Her beauty makes her seem so fragile. Brilliant acting all around. Marriage is a just a tie that binds together people in a loveless union. Maybe that isn't always true, yet for some unfortunate souls...
